@ghost_poetry as long as you had taken at least 7 pills correctly before you stop taking it you should be fine. Use condoms from now on. It’s not recommended to stop and start the pill like that by the way. You’re most at risk of blood clots on the combined pill when you start it again. You’re likely to experience unwanted side effects.

@bluerose9 oh i didnt know thank you. I just wanted to stop taking it for a while since ive been experiencing constant spotting and wanted to kind of « reset » everything and restart fresh

it doesn’t work like that, if you’re coming back on it soon i would just stay on, restarting the pill again could even make you spot even more it doesn’t “reset” anything

You should only ever take a break from birth control if it’s for at least 12 full months.
