i accidentally shorted my break to 6 days, will it effect my protection on my next break if i got back to the 7 days?

No. It changes nothing. You don’t even have to do the break week at all. As long as you start your next pack or whichever method you’re using within 7 days of the last one ending, you’re fine.

No you’ll be fine. You can shorten your break week but never lengthen it more than 7 days or you’ll be unprotected until you have taken your next 7 days pill on time
