Hey everyone! I was recently put on amoxicillin antibiotics, and even though penicillins are not listed as something that impacts BC, I wanted to be extra careful and have been practicing abstinence during the course of my antibiotics and for a week afterwards. Here’s my question: By the end of the course of antibiotics, I had less than a week’s worth of active pills in my blister. I am taking my full break still because the pharmacy hasn’t filled my prescription. If I want to be 100% safe (pls don’t tell me that amoxicillin doesn’t impact it so I’ll fine), do I have to wait until my next active pills? This is a general question for all situations too, which is why I didn’t want y’all to focus on the antibiotic. In the future I would like to know how many active pills I need for my BC to be effective after something happens. Thank you!
