any non-hormonal birth control options that people on here like??? low libido levels & mood swings on hormonal contraceptive Lutera. I also have always skipped my period and am wondering if this could also be contributing to that problem? Regardless I do not want to fill my body with hormones anymore and am looking into other options, but I am scared of the implant & IUD. Are there any pills out there anybody is taking that in non hormonal or estrogen free??

One non-hormonal option you may consider is the copper intrauterine device (IUD), which is highly effective and does not contain hormones. While you mentioned being scared of the implant and IUD, it's important to note that they are safe and effective methods of birth control for many individuals. If you prefer to explore non-hormonal or estrogen-free pills, one option to consider is the mini-pill, also known as the progestin-only pill. This type of pill does not contain estrogen and may be a suitable alternative for you.

^ do note that the mini pill is a lot more time sensitive so if you are someone go tends to take their pill late or all over the place or miss one every now and then it won’t be a suitable method.

Non-hormonal options include the copper IUD, male condoms, female condoms, and if you're in the US, Phexxi gel. All pills contain hormones but like mentioned above the mini pill is estrogen-free, as well as hormonal IUDs and the implant. Hormones in hormonal IUDs are also more localized so you may experience fewer side effects.

copper iud is good however it can make your periods much longer and heavier so that’s something you should also consider
