Definitely get something with a platform. This gives you height without the angle of the heel being too steep. When I buy heels I actually look at the steepness of the arch if that makes sense rather than the height of the actual heel. A platform shoe will look like a higher heel but because the entire shoe is on a platform it's not actually as steep of an angle for your foot. That's my number one trick for finding more comfortable heels. Also, a block or wedge-shaped heel will be more comfortable to walk in than a small or stiletto heel. Congrats on your wedding!
