when having my break week, do i need to stop taking the pill for 7 days or could i just stop taking it for say 5 days

you can shorten your break week but never extend it past 7 days

so yes you can have a 5 day break instead

just remember that you’ll need a new prescription earlier tho as you’ll finish your packs 2 days earlier each time

Shortening your break weeks is recommended. If your insurance covers your pill then make sure whether it’ll be covered if you retrieve them early.
