There is no need for plan B if you use your birth control correctly. Using it for no reason will only cause unnecessary strain on your body. If you don’t trust your birth control to do its work then you should resort to condoms to give you a peace of mind.

If you’ve taken your pills within your pill’s allowed time frame (either 12 or 24 hours) and used it correctly otherwise (ie accounted for anything that can decrease it’s effectiveness) then it’s working. This is what birth control is designed to be used for, use condoms unless you’re 100% comfortable and confident in relying entirely your birth control for contraception. It’s not worth the stress!
