I started the pill for the first time april 1st, I normally get my period on the 7th of each month, and i know im supposed to technically have the "withdrawl bleed "at the end of the month now but its the 14th and theres been no spotting or anything... should i take a pregnancy test or did the hormones work that fast? Sorry if this sounds dumb LOL im just a bit nervous

You don’t get a period on the pill so sometimes you may bleed and others times you may not, it’s completely normal. You should be fine as long as you’ve taken your pill correctly.

Ideally you do not bleed as long as you’re talking active pills. You no longer have a period because the pill suppresses ovulation from happening, that’s how it prevents pregnancy. Your natural cycle is completely irrelevant now. If you take your pills correctly you are fine.

If you want to know how birth control works I recommend checking the NHS and Planned Parenthood websites, do not Google and use random websites only stick to these 2 as they are backed up by scientific research
