so I lay had intercourse June 3rd, I was on my 2nd week of my pill pack I had only taken like 1 or 2 pills 5 minutes later than usual but the rest had been taken exactly at the same time, we also used a condom and was checked for any leaks (everything was fine, no leaks) but I didn’t notice that he had ejaculated while he was still inside (he had a condom on). I then got my period or “withdrawal bleeding” when I was scheduled to get and I’ve been getting a little bit of brown discharge these past few days. Is there any possibilities I could be pregnant? I’ve been really paranoid about it. help pls!!

I definitely don’t think you have any reason to be worried! 5 minutes late won’t change the efficiency of the pill of any brand i’m pretty sure! also if there was no leaks in the condom and he was wearing it correct you’re even more safe brown discharge is completely normal i get it a lot myself i think you’re all okay! if it really worries you a lot take a pregnancy test if you have access! it can really ease your mind (: x

no pill has a usage window of less than 3hours so you’re fine. brown discharge is normal it’s just old/oxidised blood.

@Catbiscuits_ Thank you. I’ve only been getting paranoid because I’ve been on google reading stuff and they state that brown discharge can be a sign of pregnancy and all this stuff so I gets me scared and I have trouble trusting the pill.

@nikeyxo Thank you so much. would you recommend I take a test or is it not necessary?

I would only recommend look at reliable sources such as the nhs website! the pill and pregnancy have similar side effects but seen as you’ve taken your pill correctly you have nothing to worry about. a pregnancy test is not necessary but if it’s going to ease your mind then why not! those posts i linked should help ease your mind too

@222angel trust me google is not your best friend, most spotting in terms of pregnancy is light and not very common. May i suggest if you ever want to, there’s really cheap packs of pregnancy tests on amazon if you have access. if you ever feel anxious doing one of those could make you feel 10x better but with how safe you are (bc and condoms) you’re completely find(:
