My old situationship owes me $11 but we got into a huge fight a few weeks ago and so he blocked me on everything. He said he’d pay me the next week when he got paid, but he didn’t! He’s a thief and a liar☹️. Now I feel weird because I feel like he one up’ed me.

I’d just cut your losses. I know it’s 💩 but for the future: never lend people money unless you’re okay with them never paying you back. It’s a sad reality but most people will abuse your kindness.

I know it's the principle of the thing but it's probably not worth fighting for $11 or getting stressed over it. Think of it as you being the more generous and bigger person and letting it go.

@Yi_eune @aurielle and I’ve been telling my therapist that I felt so betrayed that he could steal from me! But I’m working on accepting it honestly. Karma will get him.

i think it's one of those frustrating situations when you have to take the loss and deal with the unpleasant emotions you feel instead of fighting the situation. so sorry this happened to you though:(

@pmddleigh honestly it’s so hard for me to accept I won’t get it back. Because I’m the type of person who honestly wouldn’t let that slide, but I can’t do anything in this situation.

Honestly if that’s the price you paid to know he’s absolutely not worth it then you got a bargain, some people lose significantly more before they realise that. From now only loan people your time and money if you are okay with not being repaid.
