Hi! I started mirvala(marvelon) on October 16th for the first time, after being on nexplanon for the past 3 years. Last week I started spotting brown blood, and it still hasn’t gone away. Is this normal? And will it stop? I start the taking sugar pills for a week on Thursday, so hopefully my period comes and the spotting ends afterwards. 💤💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊⚠️💊💊💊💊💊💊⏱ Brand: Marvelon

Unfortunately it is a normal side effect, especially when starting and switching to a new form of birthcontrol. There isn’t any way to tell how long it will last for, but it might help once you take your break and start the active pills again after (but it’s not guaranteed)
