Hey guys I’m on my third day of active pills. Usually, I take it at 7:20, but since I haven’t had a regular wake-sleep cycle and no routine since two packs ago, so I’ve been taking it a few hours inconsistently for a month or so. Say, I take it at 8am on Monday, but 1pm on Tuesday, ect Last night, my boyfriend and I had no condoms so we tried anal, but in the process he got the tip of his penis in my vagina accidentally. We’re both just quite anxious people and despite myself being medicated, I’d just like the cold hard facts so I know what to do. Thank you all xx Brand: Yasmin

So what are you asking? Are you asking if you’re protected or not? If that’s the question, then yes you are. A few hours later isn’t going to affect your protection. You’re on a combination pill so you have a 24 hour window to take it until it’s considered missed.

@waabananang I just figured since the actual Yasmin pamphlet said 12 hours until it’s considered compromised, thank you :)

Nope! Pamphlets are outdated and tend to be overly cautious. The updated information would be found on the nhs website :)
