I think I might be crazy/parnoid. So I’m on Brand: Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo/ Tri-Lo Millie. I take it pretty much at the same time maybe hr late. Had sex no condom freaked out took a plan B just in case. Following weekend (still taking birth control as prescribed) had sex pulled out and was on last day of period. I’m just kind of freaking out bc I wanna make sure I’m protected and I’ve been abnormally cramping since starting new bc pack.

If you are taking your pills within your window (which 1 hour is well within) there was absolutely no reason you should’ve taken the plan b it was very unnecessary and is probably why you’re cramping and having side effects because of the huge dose of hormones you took. If you’re scared of pregnancy and don’t trust your pills then you should really use condoms or another form of secondary contraception

^^ The side effects you’re experiencing are almost definitely from taking plan b while on the pill. I’d really recommend using condoms or even looking at counselling if the paranoia is becoming extreme

Use condoms unless you are 100% comfortable going without them. I would recommend taking some time to learn how the pill works, how it needs to be used and what to do when you’ve not used it correctly. From the sounds of it you use it correctly. There was no point in taking plan b as plan b stops ovulation from happening, but the pill prevents ovulation, so plan b could do nothing. It’s a huge dose of hormones so you may experience side effects for weeks or longer (make sure you are aware of the potential side effects of plan b so you know what they are when they happen). Cramps are a side effect so it’s not abnormal that you’re experiencing that. You have no reason to be concerned.
