Hey, dear community! I used to take p pill Yasminelle for 3 years(21/7) and recently a month ago my doctor recommended me to switch to Slynd - it’s a new generation of mini pill , which has 4 brake days (24/4). The main reason for that - was my constant headaches and risk of blood clots. However, both pills contain drospirenon. In Yasminelle there is also oestrogen. I tried to read up on it, and it seems like drospirenon is actually the main factor which puts you at risk of blood clots? Is there anyone who knows more about it ? And additionally, If anyone here takes Slynd - are you happy with it/ any side effects?

It’s the oestrogen that increases the risk of blood clots. Slynd is fairly new on the market, I’ve only seen maybe 2-3 people on here who’re on it so you probs won’t get much response to your last question x
