Consistent Bleeding After Starting Yasmin? Hi! I’m sixteen and first started Yasmin on the 19th of March (first day of period) which was prescribed for period regularity because I was bleeding twice a month. I’ve seen light bleeding almost every single day, even past my period, should I be concerned or is that a normal experience? Any other additional experiences first starting Yasmin would be much appreciated! I feel like I might just be too anxious 😓 💤💊💊💊💊💊⚠️‼️⚠️💊‼️💊

You can experience side effects such as breakthrough bleeding or irregular bleeding at any time. They are most common during your first 3-6 months on the pill as it takes time for your body to adjust to being on Yasmin (or any birth control for that matter).

Hi! I was previously on Yasmin and when i first started taking it i bled for about 2 weeks getting lighter every day and eventually stopped. i then got the breakthrough bleed as normal each time i took my break week. just be aware this is all new to your body so its completely normal for it to last longer/shorter than the two weeks and as said above it can last up to 6 months but hopefully you will regulate sooner! Apart from that i had a positive experience on Yasmin and personally experienced no other side effects. If you have any questions you can always ask me!
