UTI question
i can’t go see my doctor because its the weekend but will reach him as soon as its 9 am on monday. i have very mild symptoms, frequent peeing and a tiny bit of burning. should i take my antibiotic? or wait for my symptoms to worsen?

@Yi_eune my doctor knows i can’t always afford to see him so he prescribed me one extra because i have very frequent UTIs

@bimbodruid did he ask you to contact him before starting to take the extra antibiotics he’s given you for this purpose?

@bimbodruid then I would say start them now, no need to wait for the infection to get worse that only risks more complications

@bimbodruid ah I see! I think it’s best to start your antibiotics ASAP so the situation doesn’t worsen. And call your doctor Monday morning to inform him that you’re taking the extra prescription. Since you are experiencing frequent UTI’s I’d think it’s wise for your doctor to put you onto probiotics. If you’re having sex without condoms it might also be a good idea to use condoms as semen can disrupt your pH levels.
