hi I’m not sure if anyone can help/give me advice regarding this. so i was currently on the 3rd week of my pill before my 1 week break and my “period” started on a random day whilst i was still taking the pill (this has never happened before and my bleeding only usually ever happens when im on a break). it started with just brown discharge, then brown blood, then a proper period. but after that im still getting brown discharge and occasionally brown blood and a bit of normal blood. it has been just over 2 weeks since this started now and im just praying for it to end because im so fed up with it. does anyone know why this is happening please?😓 ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌💤💤💤💤💤💤💤❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌⏱

Sounds like ur having irregular bleeding.

Sounds like breakthrough bleeding (otherwise known as irregular bleeding) it’s not necessarily caused by anything as it’s a possible side effect of the pill. How long you’ve been on that pill for is not relevant. However: taking the pill at the same time every day can significantly reduce side effects so have you been irregular with your time? It may last quite a while but if you’re consistently bleeding for 5-6 continuous weeks it might be a good idea to consider a different pill or method entirely.

@Yi_eune hi thanks for your reply! i am usually very on time with my pill, but the night before my bleeding started i missed a pill. ive accidentally missed one before and didnt bleed though so i didnt think it would be related to that. thank you :)
