Yall im pretty sure ive had a yeast infection for about a week now. I couldnt make it to an appointment earlier and started my period yesterday. I called a planned parenthood and they said i cant get tested while menstruating and i do need to go in person (no tele-health). How do i alleviate symptoms in the meantime? My period will likely end on Tuesday. I have mainly like irritation i think due to the pads right now (i dont know how to use tampons). Just quite a bit of discomfort and some slight burning. If theres any at home things i could do?

If you're pretty sure it's a yeast infection you can get over the counter treatment like monistat or clotrimidazole (a pessary treatment that you insert each day for 3, 5, or 7 days depending on which treatment you get)

Don’t use tampons if you have a yeast infection. (I know you said you don’t use them, but just for future reference.) Walmart or any grocery store should have Monistat or something similar. I would recommend the 1 day treatments, as you just insert it in before you go to bed and it treats it while you sleep. Also, if it’s not a yeast infection and you do the treatment it won’t hurt anything.
