I had my break about 3 weeks ago and i went to pharmacy to get a restock but I was given the wrong pill . I went back to change it but they said I needed a new prescription, so I had to take those pills as I was waiting to see a doctor for a new prescription, so I took about 5 of them and then started my normal pills straight away the day I got them. My boyfriend usually finishes inside as I use my pill correctly and very very rarely ever miss a pill. We’ve had sex the past 2/3 weeks but I didn’t allow him to finish inside as that would be silly. However I’ve woken up this morning and I’m bleeding. I don’t know why. I’m still taking my pills as normal. Is this just a side effect of switching pills or something else?

Irregular bleeding is a side effect of the pill that can happen at ANY time while on the pill, but yes switching pills or taking the pill inconsistently can lead to experiencing side effects like that

I assume by your wording you didn’t use condoms you just got him to pull out? @Polly7980

@Polly7980 I would recommend using condoms if you ever feel like you are not protected by the pill. Pulling out is not super effective.
