I’m on the combined pill. My week break was last week. So this is my 7th day of taking it this week and I’ve been on it for a couple of years. I woke up with period pains and I’m bleeding heavily. This hasn’t happened before. Should I be concerned?

Breakthrough bleeding, always a possibility while you’re on birth control. If you use your pill correctly it’s nothing to be worried about.

How long does it usually last? I’ve been bleeding since last Saturday night and it’s now Thursday
