Hello!! How bad are adult braces? I’m getting mine November 26th, any advice?

They’re not bad at all! I had them put on when I was 25 and got them off at 27. It was very rare that anyone ever made fun of me or commented on it but when they did I just told them that I at least could afford to have braces 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have a few adult friends who love their braces! My case is a little different and I just finished my Invisalign treatment. My teeth weren’t too bad to begin with, just crowding on my bottom teeth. It was the most painful when I first started and it hurt to eat sometimes, but it got better as my teeth adjusted. Most of the time my teeth felt normal though.
