Tw: Bruise, picture included Hey guys. Anybody with a nexplanon- Is this placement going to be ok??? I’ve heard mixed statements that manufacturers changed where it gets inserted. Do I need to get it changed, or is it safe?

The upper arm is the usual placement. I’ve had my previous one there and I got it replaced last week, using the same spot.

Okay. I was just making sure because. a lot of people have it towards their inner arm. Thank you!!

My friend has hers there! Never had any issues

@nicoanstic_ back of and inner arm are very common, no worries! If you would like your next one (so in 3 years) to be towards the inner arm just tell your doctor! :)
