(I’m not on birth control since July 2024 & use condoms) I had my period December 18th, today marks exactly 5 weeks since then and I do not have my period. I’m regular, cycle is about 35 days long and I’ve never missed a period up until now. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it came out negative. Is it normal to miss a period? Why would this be?

It can take 9 months or even longer for your natural periods to fully regulate after stopping birth control. It’s normal to experience irregular bleeding during that time. Even then, illness, stress, changes in diet/sleep/routine etc can have a big impact on your body and therefore your menstrual cycle
