PCOS and no symptoms? Hi! So I actually stopped taking the pill over 8 months ago. Since then my period has been coming quite regular (like before the pill). A few months ago I had my period again after 2 weeks and I realized it was bc of a pill I was taking (stomach related issues). It made my prolactin go higher and therefore I had a second period. Then last month my period arrived like 10ish days later than usual. Right before I went to see my gyno. She sent me some blood tests which came back fine but said that everything looked good just that one ovary looked a bit too big and that maybe I’m one of those women who have PCOS but with no/or minimal symptoms. Now, I take my basal tempt every morning and I noticed once again I ovulated late like last time and now around the amount of days when I got my last period but I’m getting anxious about not getting it and that something might be wrong. Has anyone been gone through this?

It might take your body a couple of months to adjust back to normal after that medication affected it. It can also take some people a full year to fully adjust back to normal after stopping BC, having a couple of regular periods and experiencing a couple of irregular periods could potentially be related to coming off the pill. Being stressed can also have a big impact on your body so stressing about it might also be delaying/affecting it 😅
