guys i know i’ve posts already today but how do i ease my mind of possibly getting pregnant on the pill? my bf pulls out all the time and i use my pill within a 3 hour time frame but i just always panic and if i google symptoms i have them all, such as tender breast, tiredness and stuff like that 😣

Those are normal side effects. You should stop googling your symptoms cause a lot of the time google is dramatic, you look up dry skin symptoms & it tells you you’re going to die tomorrow from sensitive skin lol. There’s no possibility of pregnancy here… sounds like you take your pill on time everyday which is the whole point of birth control.

The pill basically tricks your body into thinking it's already pregnant, that's why a lot of the side effects are similar to pregnancy. It's important to understand how and why the pill works, there's a lot of scientifically proven content available explaining it. Find good sources and learn about what you're taking, that should help your anxiety.

If it helps you: pull out method does nothing as it still comes with live sperm. Your birth control has already protected you xx

@Yi_eune sorry but i just remembered, in october i was throwing up at night and the morning after, because i had a hangover (haven’t drunk since) but i took my pill after, however a couple hours after taking my pill i threw up once more. would i have then been unprotected? me and my bf didn’t have sex until like 2/3 days after that tho

@bluey1234 throwing up only affects the pill if it happens within 3 hours of taking the pill.

@Yi_eune and what if i threw up before then? could there be a chance i’m pregnant?

@bluey1234 only if you had sex in the 48 hours that followed. As you’re in the mini pill any sex prior to missing a pill remains protected, it’s only the 2 days (48 hours) after a missed pill that you’ll be at risk. Have you read your pamphlet? Because it should have this information in there too. You could also check {cvKo0pNJb} for more information about the mini pill.

@Yi_eune i checked and it only mentions about throwing up after youur 7 day break, but i have a 4 day break and i threw up on what would have been the 5th and 6th day so therefore can it not just be like a 6 day break?

@bluey1234 ah so you’re on a combined pill? I thought you were on a mini pill because you mentioned a 3 hour time frame. Combined pills have a 12 or 24 hour frame so if you take it in that time you’re safe. Throwing up only affects the pill if it’s within 3 hours of taking a pill. But yes, you can have a break for up to 7 days. You’re fine either way by the sounds of it.
