Hi all! I’ve been on the pill since December, and I take the one where I have no breaks. I accidentally missed a pill on Saturday, and since then, I have regularly continued to take it but I have had horrendous period cramps and a very heavy flow. Has anyone had this before and when will it go away?

if you’re on mini pill please check your pamphlet as to when you are protected again as missing one pill makes you unprotected. side effects can increase when you miss a pill so it will be down to that- as for when it will stop, there’s no way of predicting it. i was late with (but not missed) pills for weeks and bled for a month

Missing pills can cause side effects such as irregular bleeding.
