I’m on Yaz, it says I can take a pill up to 24 hours before it’s considered missed. Would that not be when I’m supposed to take my next pill? So I take it at 9pm more or less. 24 hours later I forget to take it, I still have another 24 hours? So 48 hours after the last pill I took? But then I should be taking another pill at that time so I’d realistically be taking another pill late if I’m over 24 hours late with that first forgotten pill. This is just a curiosity/clarification question.

Yes that’s exactly how it works. You could take a pill every 48 hours and be completely covered but it’ll be very likely you’ll experience a lot of side effects by doing that, as well as very vulnerable for user error. Just try taking it daily.

@Yi_eune thanks! That’s so interesting cause for so long I thought Yaz had a 12hour window and it feels like just recently this was updated. Wish these things were clearer for us uterus owners when it’s something as serious as pregnancy.
