I had to switch health insurance this year….not by choice actually My new current insurance doesn’t have my birth control covered and I see none that would be ok with being covered Would the pharmacy know which ones I could switch to?

I mean it obviously doesn’t hurt to ask, but generally that’s something you’d have to call your insurance company about and ask what they cover, or if you can access it online you could try and find a formulary of medications they cover

@Monkeybutt63 I’ve been looking at a list of medications they do cover and none of them I know I don’t know the ingredients in them or how many days it has It’s why I asked if my pharmacy would know because of the list I’ve been looking at I’ll have a chat with my pharmacy first and see before I call

Oh gotcha, is it just a list of the names they cover? You can definitely ask which birthcontrol brand/name is chemically the same and you can see if your insurance covers it
