Would you know if a coil fell out? Like would u definitely feel it? Sometimes I get so nervous if it fell out in the toilet or something. I can’t feel stings with a good year or so.

If you can’t feel the strings, I would definitely go see your doctor so they can check that it’s still in place. If it’s not in place correctly in can cause complications. And if it fell out, you could get pregnant if you are sexually active and not using any other forms of protection.

I’ve had 3 IUD’s and have never been able to feel the strings. If you’re really worried then go see a doctor but you’d start experiencing side effects of being off birth control and would probably feel it or see it in the toilet.

Also keep in mind that it’s more likely to fall out immediately after insertion. If you’ve had it for a few weeks then it’s incredibly unlikely it would just come out for no reason.

I’ve never been able to feel my strings with any of mine. They eventually loosen up and wrap around your cervix.
