Hey guys, I just came back from Europe which is 6 hours ahead from my country (Canada). I last took my pill at 8am CET on Oct 27, now it’s 7:30am EST October 28 which means it’s been more than 24 hours since I took my last pill, if I’m right? Like I feel stupid af rn but do the time zones matter for this. Seriously need help lol Additional question: I have the days labeled on my pack to help me keep track of the days I take them. I just took Monday’s pill (today is Monday) but should I also take the Tuesday pill (tomorrow’s pill) to make up for the missed pill? And if that’s the case, I should shorten my break week right? Sorry for all the silly questions, I just want to make everything as clear as possible for me and I entirely blame myself cuz I slept on the plane the whole time and didn’t remember to set any type of alarm. Plus the time zones always confuse me

If more than 48 hours passed between pills then it counts as a missed pill and you need to follow the instructions of your pamphlet. The 24 hour window starts at the time you were supposed to take your pill, which would have been 03:00 AM EST (as that would have been 08:00 AM CET). Taking it at 07:30 AM EST only made that 4 and a half hours late out of the 24 allowed hours.

@smgr8rwd you never missed a pill, with most combined pills you can also fully miss one without it compromising your protection. Did you look at your pamphlet? You should for next time. Taking the extra pill was unnecessary, but it won’t harm you. At most you could experience heightened side effects, but you probably won’t notice a thing. Do keep in mind that there is no such thing as “catching up”, so you’ll be short a pill near the end of your pack.
