Hey, there’s a current shortage in some of bc pills in my country & Nordette is one of them. I have to go from Nordette to Logynon Ed. I’m was on my placebo week from my last Nordette pack. My question is am i immediately protected when I start my new pack of Logynon? I don’t have a pamphlet for info

Google the pamphlet and you’ll get an online copy. Check the active ingredients for both, if they’re the same type of hormone and same dosage then they’re essentially the same thing and your protection isn’t affected. If they’re not the same hormones and/or are different dosages then they’re different and you’ll have to follow the new pill’s instructions for changing to a different combined pill.

You need to google the new pamphlet and look for the instructions on how to swap to your next pill. If you fail to follow these instructions then it’s possible you won’t be covered for.
