Hi! I had sex for the first time on the pill yesterday and we didn’t use protection. I’ve been in the pill for almost 2 months now and have never missed one or taken it late. He did not finish inside me either. Should I be anxious about somehow becoming pregnant, or do I have nothing to worry about? I have a plan B available if I do need to take it but I have heard bad stories about recovery from Plan B. I’m naturally just an anxious person and everytime I have sex I get irrationally anxious. Any advice is appreciated :) Also from now on I’m going to prioritize using two types of protection to minimize the anxiety LOL

Your pill is your protection. Plan B isn’t needed. I think using two types of protection is perfect for you so you can have peace of mind.

You don’t need plan B. But if you are not confident in your birth control you shouldn’t use it as your only method and since you get so anxious about pregnancy it is wise to keep using condoms in addition to the pill.

Firstly the pill is more effective at preventing pregnancy than plan b. Plan b stops/prevents ovulation. If you are using the pill correctly you already are not ovulating, so taking plan b will do nothing. Except potentially give you unwanted side effects.
