Hi, I take a pill where you take 21 and then have a 7 day break, is there any harm in continuous pill use like for 3 month without a break?

I’ve been doing this with no issues so far, but my friends have said I’m stupid and I can’t do that, apparently it means I’m more risk of getting pregnant? Don’t understand their logic

That’s false information, they are not health care professionals to be calling you stupid

Well exactly, I read some information on the nhs website and showed them but they still won’t accept it

If they want to be stubborn that’s theirs problem, you did the right thing by going on the NHs website, but to answer your question no it doesn’t do any harm to skip your break week x

@seechell thank you! I didn’t think it would and am I right in thinking that the bleed you get on the break isn’t a sign of Not being pregnant?

Yes it’s just withdrawl bleeding, you shouldn’t assume your pregnant if you’ve taken your pills correctly

Yeah that’s what I thought, they seem to believe it’s a period I think that’s why they are saying I won’t know I’m pregnant

Just come back with I take my pill correctly so that’s how I know I’m not

@Arich123 yeah I will, it’s just annoyed me because someone’s just told me they have just been talking about it saying how stupid I am and the other people have agreed

Don’t take medical advice from your friends. Ignore them and keep your personal decisions regarding your health and medication to yourself from now on if they’re going to give you advice you aren’t asking for.
