Going through the exact same thing.. 6 years and I had to leave. It’s horrible, what I find is helping me the most is focusing on my hobbies that I enjoy? Also NOT focusing on men, or women whichever it is. Try and focus on you

Try to use the time focusing on yourself. Individual therapy can help you with confidence and building better relationships

You're not doing anything wrong, you deserve healthy love, but loving yourself properly has to start with you. That's what I would focus on right now. When you love yourself to a very high standard it becomes easier to reject toxic behaviors and people that aren't treating you right.

You need to learn to build a relationship with yourself first. Start doing exercises such as going to places you’d usually go with a partner or friend by yourself. Find the beauty in being on your own. At the end of the day, no matter what, you only have yourself. What’s meant to happen will happen. (If you believe), god has a plan for you and you need to trust in that. Look at your friends’ misunderstanding as a good thing. Keep your mind off of it, find distractions.

I promise you, once you realize how great it is to be on your own, have your own independence and how much you’re capable of, everything is going to fall into place.
