One of the most annoying things about adulting is car maintenance 😭 I just had my battery replaced which was expensive, replaced both of my air filters and wiper blades and NOW my check engine light just randomly came on for the first time when I started my car this morning?? Just needed to share and vent lol 🙄

I feel ya. I am currently car shopping and thinking on trading my car in. So expensive. I am not sure where you live, but if you have an Auto Zone or Advanced Auto store near you, you can go in and tell them your check engine light came on and you would like it scanned to see what the problem is. They do the scan thing for free. They will print it out what is wrong. They can tell you if it something that's needs attention right away or if you can drive it awhile before fixing it. It's all free.

This is one of the reasons as to why I am not keen to getting my license whatsoever. The costs are crazy

Ugh yesss 🫠 just put $1200 into my car, and that was with my dad being the one to do the work for me. Needed new brakes, rotors, and tires. Just the parts alone were $1200. Thank god I didn’t have to pay for labor

@Pizza_girl I do have an Advanced Auto Parts up the street! I’m going to go there soon. Hoping it’s minor, my car is operating as normal and sounds normal so hoping it isn’t serious or expensive 🙏🏼

Dumped $1400 recently into my 2022 vehicle since I commute a lot 😭😢 needed all new tires, rotation, balance, oil change, and new rear shocks. Soooo expensive but at least I’ll own my car in like 2 years. I try and look at the bright side ☀️
