Have you heard anything about the new over the counter birth control called Opill? It doesn’t require a prescription or doctors visit. I keep seeing ads for it randomly. What do you all think about it? If you weren’t currently on a prescription birth control do you think you would have just bought the over the counter birth control?

I think it's great that an over the counter option is finally available in the US. It's a POP/mini pill and personally I prefer to be on the combined pill so I don't think I would choose this option. That said I have health insurance that covers my bc and I use the app Nurx so I don't physically have to go to the doctor to get a prescription. If I didn't have insurance I might look into this option

I wouldn’t go on any hormonal birth control without being seen by a doctor. it is great that it’s accessible but i dont think people should be going on it without seeing a dr/gyno
