Hello!! I decided to skip my last period and continue with my current pack which ends October 15th. I’ve been on the combo pill for 8 years now. I switched a couple brands but nothing out of the normal. I was on Aviane 28 for quite some time but I am now using Layla 28 or Alysena 28, usually whatever the pharmacy has. Since I skipped my period, I have been spotting since September 27th, I know.. withdrawl bleeding, but this ? This is Slightly off for me. I have only taken two (now) packages of Layla 28, I don’t usually get spotting like this.. it’s October 10th, I have been taking my pills everyday normal time 7am but the spotting is borderline now what I consider to be a lighter period for me with bits of lining in it when I check.. today I checked and I passed some lining the size of my pinky nail. The last time I skipped a period was about a year ago on Aviane 28.. ladies has this happened to you or am I just completely nuts 😵‍💫

Yes this is normal. Skipping break weeks is not guaranteed to prevent bleeding and often actually leads to experiencing unwanted side effects like irregular bleeding, cramps, sore breasts etc for some users sometimes. Also normal to have no issues skipping break weeks some times and experience unwanted side effects at other times
