Topic: significant others going to srip clubs Hi everyone, I would love some input on this one!!! Just to paint the picture a little bit I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for almost 4 years now and we are both 21 years old. So just last night he mentioned that some guy he knows has a nephew who’s turning 18 next month and they plan on getting a group of guys and a bus and going to a strip club and a few bars. Neither of us have been to a strip club before and I’ve always thought that (if someone wanted to) you should experience it at least once in your life. I trust my boyfriend but it’s still a weird new feeling idk how to describe. Please let me know your thoughts! Do you or your partner go to strip clubs? Are there specific boundaries you have for this situation? Thanks in advance!

I think it's really good that you're keeping an open mind while being aware of and in touch with your feelings! I personally don't have a problem with either of us going to strip clubs as I view it as interacting with professional dancers and I don't see it as a threat to my relationship or anything. Totally normal to have weird feelings about things but it's good to process and talk about them rather than react out of a place of insecurity. My only boundary is that I'd expect my boyfriend to treat the dancers with respect and tip appropriately and all that

I definitely wouldn’t be okay with my boyfriend going to a strip club and I wouldn’t either. I trust my boyfriend but I consider it disrespectful to watch naked/naked girls. If he wants to go to a strip club he can be single and do that.

I personally wouldn’t be okay with it, that’s very much behavior for a single man in my opinion.. they are essentially going there to be entertained my naked/nearly naked women..
