Has any one else had issues with their birth control causing high blood pressure? I have been on the same bc for about 8 years and have just recently been diagnosed with high bp. All tests and labs done come back clean as no other factor causing, so can only assume the bc must be doing it. Anyone else experience this? Or have recommendations? For reference I am in my young 20s and this should not bean issue.

This is a common side effect for the combined pill, I had to have my blood pressure checked in order to renew my prescription every year. You’ll most likely be advised to switch to the mini pill.
