Hi! I take the combination pill and had unprotected sex yesterday. When I went to go take my pill last night, I realised I took the last one the day before and im currently not home until later today. Am I still protected by the pill? And what do I do when I get home? Take 1 pill the usual time or take 1 immediately and then the other the usual time? Context: haven’t missed a pill since October, it was the last pill in the pack and i usually take the pill at 10pm.

You need to check your pamphlet on missed pills and follow the instructions provided. With most combined pills you have a 24 hour usage window and you’re allowed to fully miss a pill without it having an impact. Check your instructions by reading the physical pamphlet or finding an online version of your brand.
