But I’ve noticed that it’s different packaging and a different pharmaceutical brand. I’ve been taking it for just over 2 weeks now and have been bleeding (which is sometimes what my irregular bleeding is like). Is this normal for starting the same pill (desogestrel) but from a different pharmaceutical company?

It can happen, because yes they are the same active ingredient and your protection is not affected at all because it’s the same but the thing that might be throwing your body off is the difference in inactive or filler ingredients in the new pill
