Why would you take your pills on and off? You meant you missed some on your pills? How long have you been on the pills?

The pull out method does not protect you, only taking your pill consistently does. Did you take 7 active pills in a row before you stopped taking it? You may be at risk of pregnancy.

in order to be protected by the pill you have to take it consistently and as instructed

If you don’t take your pills as instructed then you will not be protected. Please be more responsible and use condoms until you understand your pill or consider changing to a semi-permanent method.

@plasmid I agree with all the comments above. Please be careful using the pills inconsistently like that because you could be at high risk of getting pregnant. Understand that you just used the pills for period prevention though you won’t be as protected as to those who are using BC regularly and consistently. A few pills won’t be enough to protect you. In the future, you really should use condoms. Pull out method doesn’t work all the time.

the pull out method is not effective and you are at risk of pregnancy. you might still be able to take Plan B, take a pregnancy test in 3 weeks. the pill should be used as a long term method that’s consistently used, not period prevention as that only throws your body off and that’s probably why you’re not getting a period. plus it increases your risk of blood clots. you either take the pill or you don’t

@plasmid your period might come late. If you’re thinking of taking a pregnancy test you have to wait 3 weeks for it to be accurate. Just wait. Or you could take Plan B now just to be safe. If I were you, I would tbh.

@plasmid Contact your gyno and letting them know. They might be able to assist you. You would rather be safe than sorry.

plan B can work up to 5 days after unprotected sex but the later you take it the less effective it is which is why you need to take a pregnancy test in 3 weeks. in the future use condoms or use your pill correctly

@plasmid Yea, take plan B like today or the latest would be Thursday but the sooner the better, you don’t want to wait. I hope you will be able to get one. 🙏🏼

i took the ellaOne plan B just now

with ellaone you need to wait 5 days before you start your pill again as it makes it ineffective, then wait 7 days until you are protected again by your pill

the pill is completely effective on its own when taken correctly but if you struggle to take it consistently use condoms or switch to a semi permanent method

would the implant be better do you think is it effective straight away?

Jun 5 23
18:22
it takes 7 days for it to be effective unless it’s fitted during the first 5 days of your period {edbKRj510}

I would use condoms for the foreseeable future until you’ve figured out what you want to do for birth control. I use the implant and it’s been great but it does take a week to take effect.
