I haven’t had sex in over a year and a half , but am on day two of the mini pill … my periods are all over the place and have never been regular.. the last time I had a period was 16th June -26th June how fast does it take the mini pill to work as I’ve started seeing someone but we’ve not had sex yet

Have you read your pamphlet yet? It will tell you how many pills you need to take in order to become protected. There’s also information about what to do when you miss pills which is important to know before you start relying on it for protection. Have you and whoever you’re seeing recently gotten tested? If not then I’d get that going first and use condoms until both of you got results x

Yeah we have both been tested in the last week , I must re read the pamphlet to see thank you for your advice x
