Hi everyone i have been off the pill since around the 19th march maybe a bit longer so just over a month. I recently bled but it was very light and it was more just dark like deoxygenated blood i think it’s because i didn’t bleed straight away and my last break week on the pill i didn’t get a bleed. I have had unprotected sex almost everyday up until yesterday. Is there a chance i could be pregnant? i took a test about 2 weeks ago and it was negative but we have still been trying since.

Yesterday i also had really intense cramp which made it hard to stand up sometimes. Not sure is this is just a symthom of stopping the pill tho.

Irregular bleeding is completely normal, it can take your body up to a year to adjust to being off of birth control. From my understanding of this post it seems like you’re trying to get pregnant. I would just recommend testing on a regular basis! There’s always a chance of pregnancy if you’re having unprotected sex, but irregular bleeding as well as cramping are also very normal following coming off of birth control.
