For your smear test, how did you handle your pubic hair? It’s the part I’m most nervous for😬

This has never even occurred to me!! Mine just depends on how recently I waxed—I’ve def been when I hadn’t waxed in months. It’s really not a big deal either way, it’s perfectly normal and just hair.

I just go with whatever my pubic hair is like at that time. They’re used to seeing hair and pubic hair is normal.

I don't do anything different (I don't shave my pubic hair at all.) It absolutely does not make a difference to them and you will see many articles online of doctors and nurses saying that you don't need to do anything with your hair!

They’ve seen probably thousands of vaginas with hair and no hair, they won’t care!
