As you’re now on the pill you no longer have real natural periods, and are no longer “due”, “late” or “on time” for bleeds. Any bleeding is a side effect of the pill. Bleeding/not bleeding doesn’t really mean anything anymore. Ideally you do not bleed on the mini pill but as you’re experiencing, irregular bleeding is a common side effect.
Appetite changes are a common side effect of the pill.
On the pill, whether it’s ‘old’ or ‘fresh’ blood, it doesn’t really mean anything.
If you’ve used your pill correctly and accounted for anything that can affect its effectiveness, you’re not at risk of pregnancy.
