If you can’t see that link, it basically says smoking cigarettes on the combined pill is very bad for you. It says basically your risk for blood clots/heart conditions/stroke is doubled, tripled, and even sometimes quadrupled. It’s a bad combo, as you can see in some comments of older posts if you search it. From what I understand, weed is totally fine to smoke on the pill- as long as you don’t smoke so much you forget to take a pill or anything like that.

Yes ^ vaping nicotine and tobacco products are both bad to do while on the combo pill.

Smoking/vaping/weed does NOT counteract the pill ( idk if that’s the right word english is not my native language ). It just heightens the risk of a blood clot/heart conditions etc. but ik a lot of people that smoke and are on the pill and nothing ever happens

It’s usually not a problem unless it’s a family condition or until you’re 35 or older, but if you plan on continuing to smoke nicotine anyway I suggest you swap to a method that works with smoking. I know your mom might be there but it’s important that you’re honest to your healthcare providers. Get an appointment without her in the future. You can ask her to wait in the waiting room if she has to drive you.

I think you’re fine, even if the risk of clots etc, is “doubled” it’s still a pretty low percent.
