Okay so I’ve been on the combined pill for like 5 years now and it’s been working wonderfully. I’m just getting slightly worried about all the estrogen I’ve been getting and I’m thinking of switching to the mini pill Cerazette. Anything I should be expecting? Any tips would be wonderful 🫶

Why exactly are you switching? What are you worried about? I would stick to the method that already works for you as another method could be the complete opposite.

Because Loryna is one of the highest doses and I don’t want any more estrogen in my body. I work in the ER and I’ve seen many young women with DVTs. The switch might be challenging but I don’t wanna develop blood clots potentially ending up in my lungs or brain (extreme and rare a cases I know) also I’m in my late 20s so I’m close to the point where estrogen is no longer recommended. I just don’t wanna risk it

@Andie777 late 20s is perfectly fine though, it’s more of a problem near your mid 30s. You do you of course, but just be prepared your mini pill experience can be completely different and there is no way to “expect” anything as there is no one size fits all.

Yea I understand. I’m already talking to my physician to see what the best fit for me. Just wondering if anybody has been on the mini pill for a while and their experiences. There’s always some pills with overall better or worse reviews
