i’m on day 9 on my pill, been taking it for 2 years ? maybe. today, i’ve been laying in bed and i started to bleed. but it wasn’t period blood. confused. what is this? i finished my period a week ago.

Sounds like breakthrough bleeding, which is a side effect of the pill.

To me that sounds like breakthrough bleeding which is very normal (though I admit it sucks)! I have been experiencing something very similar, been on the pill for years and only now experiencing breakthrough bleeding. Just have to tough it out

Breakthrough bleeding is a possible side effect the entire time you use birth control. It’s very normal.
