Hello, I’ve been on birth control for a while. So I started a new pack on March 12. So I ended up taking my pill a few hours late on March 22 (I typically take it at 9pm) I’ve been bleeding since then . I know it’s breakthrough bleeding but I’m just unsure because I don’t take my placebo pills. So on my last pack I had a light “period” not really typical for me. I usually bleed heavy or medium flow, and it’s like I had started my period all over again on March 22. I havent been bleeding as much but it’s more like spotting now. I’m now at my placebo week for the current pack I have and I was just wondering if I should still expect bleeding or do I need to go to my doctor and check something out? 💤💤💤💤💤💤⚠️💊💊⚠️💊💊💊💊💊💊⚠️💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💤

If you’re taking your break week, you most likely will bleed during the placebo pills, the breakthrough bleeding is completely normal and not concerning unless you’re bleeding heavily and for a long time. Any type of bleeding heavy or not during active pills is completely normal and can happen to anyone at anytime even if you haven’t experienced it before
